World Diabetes Day 2025
Each year on 14 November, the global community observes World Diabetes Day (WDD), an awareness campaign initiated by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) together with the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1991 to combat the rising burden of diabetes. For 2025, WDD’s theme is “Diabetes and Well-being”, with a focused sub-campaign calling for action on “Diabetes and the workplace” (World Diabetes Day).

Program Objectives
The World Diabetes Day 2025 theme focuses on "Diabetes and Well-Being" with a specific emphasis on "Diabetes and the Workplace". The campaign urges stakeholders to "know more and do more for diabetes at work," highlighting the need to reduce stigma, improve access to care, and create supportive environments.
Why this program matters?
Improving diabetes awareness and education is the first step towards better quality of life. In the MENA region, through the World Diabetes Day 2025, we aim to bridge the gap in clinical knowledge and patient self-management strategies.
