The Pakistan Endocrine Society (PES) is the national professional body representing endocrinologists, diabetologists, and healthcare professionals committed to advancing endocrine and metabolic health in Pakistan. Established in 2001, PES promotes education, research, and evidence-based clinical practice in endocrinology through its annual scientific conferences, CME programs, clinical guidelines, and nationwide awareness campaigns. The Society also serves as a key platform for collaboration among clinicians, researchers, and policymakers to improve endocrine health across the region.
About
In September 2025, PES led a nationwide PCOS Awareness Campaign featuring radio, television, and social media outreach, as well as CME sessions for healthcare professionals on Diabetes and common Endocrine disorders across Pakistan. The Society also completed dissemination webinars for the Pituitary Adenoma Clinical Practice Guidelines and continued its Diabetes Distress Campaign. PES President, Dr. Aisha Sheikh, represented Pakistan at the IDF MENA Regional Council Meeting held in Algeria in September 2025.
